No. Applications packed with BoxedApp Packer don't extract embedded assets to temporary files — embedded files are served from the virtual file system in memory.
Do applications packed with BoxedApp Packer require drivers or other kernel-mode components?
No. Packed applications run entirely in user mode and don't require drivers or any kernel-level components.
Can I pack both 32-bit and 64-bit applications?
Yes. BoxedApp Packer supports x86 and x64. Packed executables preserve the bitness of the original app and run on the corresponding Windows editions.
Are packed applications compatible with modern versions of Windows?
Yes. Applications packed with BoxedApp Packer are compatible with all supported versions of Windows, starting from Windows 2000.
