License Agreement

THIS IS A CONTRACT. YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE. BY INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE.

This License Agreement is a legal agreement between you, an individual or organization, and Softanics.

Subject

The subject of this Agreement is BoxedApp Packer API, hereinafter referred to as the Software, including the entire delivery package — the software itself and the accompanying documentation.

Accepting or Rejecting the Agreement

Any use of this product, including installation of the Software or any of its parts on a computer, loading the product into operating memory (RAM) or permanent storage on a disk or other storage medium, as well as any other type of use, means that you accept all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
If you do not agree with any provision of this License, you should promptly stop using the product and delete all related files, its components, and any results of its operation from your computer. You should also return all existing media containing the Software to the place where you obtained it.

Copyright

This Software is owned by Softanics and is protected by international copyright treaties. Any modification of the Software or its components, any additions to it — including running any third-party software on your computer that is not part of your operating system and affects the Software’s operation or changes its results — as well as storage or distribution of such a modified or extended version of the Software are strictly prohibited.

Usage

The Software is licensed under this Agreement for any commercial or other lawful purpose.
Applications built using our components are royalty-free, but if you intend to create a development tool (such as a DCU, DLL, OCX, etc.) integrating this functionality, you must obtain a special license.

You acknowledge that the Software in source code form remains a confidential trade secret of Softanics or its suppliers. Therefore, you agree not to modify the Software or attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer it.
To obtain the source code, you must contact Softanics to purchase and register a version of the Software that includes source code.

Time Restriction

This product has no time limits on its use.

Licensed Copies Restriction

A Single Developer License is assigned for installation and execution on one computer by one user only.
If you have an upgrade to this Software, it constitutes a single product together with the version that you upgraded, and may not be used to increase the total number of licensed installations.

Group programming projects using this Software must purchase a copy of the Software for each member of the group or purchase a Site Developer License.
A Site Developer License is assigned for installation and execution on an unlimited number of computers by any user inside one building of an organization located in one city.

Any delivery of the product, its parts, registration codes, or access codes obtained during purchase or registration of this Software to any third party is strictly prohibited.

Distribution Restrictions

Except as provided in this License Agreement, you may not transfer, sell, rent, lease, lend, copy, modify, emulate, clone, decompile, translate, sublicense, time-share, or electronically transmit or distribute the Software or any of its parts in any way.

Registration Codes and Access Codes

Registration codes (e.g., serial numbers) or access codes (e.g., archive passwords) obtained through purchasing or registering this Software are not subject to this Agreement.
You may store any number of copies of such codes in any form only if you are a registered user and obtained them from Softanics or its authorized partners.

Any distribution or publication of registration or access codes to any third party is prohibited.
The copyright for all registration and access codes remains the property of Softanics, which reserves the right to withdraw authorization to use any issued codes if there is reasonable evidence of a violation of this Agreement.

Modifications to the Software

Softanics reserves the right to modify the executable code and to remove, add, or change the Software’s functions.

Upgrade Policy

A registered user can receive software updates free of charge within a one-year period starting from the purchase date.
A registered user can purchase the right to receive updates for the following one-year period at a discounted price (75% of the regular price) during the grace period, which begins on the purchase date and ends fourteen months after the purchase date.

Warranty and Guarantee

This documentation and the Software are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The user assumes full responsibility for any damage caused by this Software.

Changing Terms and Conditions of this Agreement

Any variation to the terms of this Agreement shall be valid only if made and delivered by Softanics.
If you do not agree with any clause of this Agreement, you may contact Softanics for clarification. However, this does not authorize you to consider this Agreement nullified.
