BoxedApp Packer License

THIS IS A CONTRACT. YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE.
BY INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE.

This License Agreement is a legal agreement between you, an individual or organization, and Softanics.

Subject

The subject of this Agreement is BoxedApp Packer (hereinafter referred to as Software), including the entire delivery package — the software itself and its accompanying documentation.

Accepting or Rejecting the Agreement

Any use of this product — including installation of the Software or any of its parts on a computer, loading the product into operating memory (RAM) or permanent storage on a computer’s disk or other storage medium, as well as any other type of use — means that you accept all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
If you do not agree with any provision of this License, you must immediately stop using the product and delete all related files, its components, and any results of its operation from your computer.
You should also return all physical media containing the Software to the place where you obtained it.

Copyright

This Software is owned by Softanics and protected by international copyright treaties.
Any modification of the Software or its components, as well as adding, executing, or running any software not built into your operating system that affects the Software’s behavior or output — and storing or distributing such modified Software — is strictly prohibited.

Usage

The Software is licensed under this Agreement for any commercial or other lawful purposes.
Applications built using our components are royalty-free. However, if you intend to create a development tool (such as a DCU, DLL, or OCX) that integrates this functionality, you must obtain a special license.

You acknowledge that the Software in source code form remains a confidential trade secret of Softanics or its suppliers.
Therefore, you agree not to modify, decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Software.
To obtain the source code, you must contact Softanics to purchase and register the version of the Software that includes source code.

If an application built with BoxedApp Packer is not used as-is but instead serves to create “packages” (for example, a packed application acts as a launcher and is designed to play externally packed videos or documents), such applications are called packers.
Vendors of packers must obtain a special license.

Time Restriction

This product has no time limits on its use.

Licensed Copies Restriction

A Single License permits installation and use on one computer by one user only.
If you upgrade the Software, it constitutes a single product together with the previous version and may not be used to increase the total number of licensed installations.

Group programming projects using this Software must purchase a copy for each developer or obtain a Site License.
A Site License permits installation and use on an unlimited number of computers by any user within a single building of an organization located in one city.

Any transfer, distribution, or sharing of the Software, its parts, registration codes, or access codes with any individual or organization is strictly prohibited.

Distribution Restrictions

Except as expressly provided in this License Agreement, you may not transfer, sell, rent, lease, lend, copy, modify, emulate, clone, decompile, translate, sublicense, time-share, or electronically transmit or receive the Software or any part of it in any way.

Registration Codes and Access Codes

Registration codes (e.g., serial numbers) or access codes (e.g., archive passwords) received upon purchasing or registering this Software are not covered by this Agreement.
You may store any number of copies of such codes for personal use, provided that you are a registered user and obtained them directly from Softanics or its authorized partners.

Any distribution, transfer, or publication of registration or access codes is strictly prohibited.
All registration and access codes remain the property of Softanics, which reserves the right to withdraw authorization for their use if there is reasonable evidence of a breach of this Agreement.

Modifications to the Software

Softanics reserves the right to modify the executable code and to remove, add, or change the Software’s functionality.

Upgrade Policy

A registered user is entitled to free updates for one year from the purchase date.
A registered user can renew update rights for the next year at a discounted price (75% of the regular price) during a grace period that starts on the purchase date and ends two months later.

Warranty and Guarantee

This documentation and the Software are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The user assumes all risks of any damage resulting from the use of this Software.

Changing Terms and Conditions

Any modification to this Agreement shall be valid only if made and delivered by Softanics.
If you disagree with any clause of this Agreement, you may request clarification from Softanics, but this does not authorize you to treat the Agreement as void.
